50 is getting here too quickly...just a couple more days. I'm really not dealing well with this. I don't think I look 50. Most days I don't feel 50. Can there be a mistake???

Any advice on how to handle this 1/2 century??

Be nice please????????????????????? If possible...lol.

Seemingly 50 is the new 40..wave

dont change you're attitude in life because you will be 50..

Wish I could offer you some comforting words, but I wasn't thrilled about my 50th, either. But we either all face it one day or we don't live long enough to face it. I'll take the former. Happy Birthday, when it arrives!

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.

And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry

And set a good example for the children.
We must have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?
So people who know me are not too shocked and surprised
When suddenly I am old, and start to wear purple.

i don't act or feel that much different today than when i turned fifty, what i used to do all night now takes me all night to dorolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing it is just a number i had more trouble turning 40, that was middle aged but i found out it was still just a number

Lol . . . . I'll be fifty in september. I feel no where's near that, perhaps that's because i'm very active and also choose too accept it is what it is. Happy soon to be birthday. Cheers:)
