if marriage worked then why do we have so many divorces,and if you were married once or more and it never worked,then why will it work next time.marriage only forces people to be together by law(not by love)most men love their girl and just want to be with her for ever(women believe an hour in a church means forever)not so.why cant couples be happy and live together and love each other(that should be all that matters)not a piece of paper,not a priest,or a mass(you dont need god to make a relationship work)just a loving couple.

I used to believe in marriage and what it was supposed to stand for, now, i am not interested. Although i can appreciate those that do, and make a success of it.

The law cannot force people to be together in marriage... It just prevents them from walking away from the marriage without obligations...

It's the marriage vow not being in church for an hour that pledges the marriage till death do you part... Also I attended a wedding on a beach not in a church... And the wedding vow was said there as well...

There is no garantee that cohabitation will work any better than marriage...

Marriage is no more and no less than legalizing sexual intercourse. So, it depends on whether you want to do it within a framework of a legal institution. It will taste the same. God, real or not, has nothing to do with this. Coupling or mating is the most natural interaction. Of course, everybody can mystify it according to each one's spirituality.

I was married before. I would do it again if I find one person that has 100% of what I am looking for. Since no person can ever have that no thanks.

i only go by my own country when i speak of law,divorce is now a new thing(when once people stayed together for life happy or not)and let us not forget a priest in church or on the beach,or else where is still the church(a church that believes that ,people in ireland or catholic countries should die of aids)rather than wear a condom,and be safe and not have unwanted children,and be happy or healthy.i have my catholic faith but also my intelect(it would seem the church does not want people to have both)who knows.
