rizlared: People will always get heated up when arguing a point about a belief that is held close to their heart, it's not like they are going to send a scud missile into some tiny village in Australia, it's words, how often have you said something during an argument that later you regret, had you thought longer better you would not have said, once posted there is no edit key and by the time you realise your regret the wolves have already gathered to tear you to shreds.

The answer IMO, to rise above it, see the funny side and not take it all so seriously.
Did I miss something why is Australia being brought into this?dunno

CaptainBeirutIII: Had CS been the world, Churchill would have never fought the Nazis. Once that Lady Nancy Astor, unable to win a debate with him resorted to personal things and claimed in front of everyone that Winston Churchill was drunk, and he replied:
- Well, my lady, I may be drunk, but tomorrow I will be sober, and you still ugly

Or the time she said that if he was her husband, she would put poison in his tea and he replied that was she his wife he would drink it.

He would have been deemed a woman-hater voted out and the Nazis would have marched all over the forums.

(and NO, I'm not calling any member here a Nazi, FFS)
Huh?

Never mind this shit is spilling over from the other.doh

Sommerauer71: So, that is what you are getting at. As in the rules at the bottom of the page, it states that be careful what you post, because it becomes the property of CS.

With refernce to bringing that over the the thread that has been locked, you asked it to be closed, you now reopen it. It was an opinion on something that was posted for all members to see. Posted in another section of the forums, yet still available for all to see.

And here we go again.

Ah it's bloody good this place innit? We sre all those people who step in and love a good dust up.

My apologies good lady.

The captain asked for a definition and I thought let me show him exactly what he said - that is a perfect example of a personal attack.

tip hat

P.S.

And it's dirty.

Apostophe: Yeah

Aren't you the one who a while ago got rejected by a bloke here who was already with someone, and in the spirit of shitstirring and trying your best to ruin it for them, had a spell of weird, starting threads about them in the Australia section?
Your crapping behind the scenes with emails to other about people you don't know, writing long stuff about them of how terrible they are, trying to convince it is so, is a habit.
So spare us your tedious about your efforts of only trying to do good.
It's an insult to the intelligence of people for you to come on here and try to toy them into thinking else.Your definition.

So by your definition, then, when a country is attacked, say like Vietnam by USA, infiltrated and Napalm-ed, they should simply take it, and bow gracefully, with the world cheering around them of how wonderful they're handling the conflict?
They shouldn't have put up a fight?

What the other party is alleged to have said and done is irrelevant - you wanted a definition and you got it.

No, It was a response to a previously made post which had personnel remarks.

And you were asked what YOUR definition was not someone else’s, but you seemed to want to point fingers and duck the actual question, how is that debating doh
