Well as its July and most of you out there will or have been going/gone on a Vacation...

Like to Share Where, When and What....???


Me I will just take 10 days....Dont know weather to go somewhere in Europe or to the US........just want to do something crazy for a change......Any Tips.....

I will return to the U.S. on the 24th of this month to see my 2 sons and other family and friends. I'll stay for about 2 weeks (first Atlanta, then to San Francisco, finally back to North Carolina) and then I'll come back to Greece for my REAL vacation. Seeing my family is wonderful, and I can't wait to be with my boys (well, men now, actually), but I don't get the relaxation I need on such trips home. So, once I'm back in Greece, I'll go to one of the islands here for about 5 nights. Not sure which one yet...perhaps Milos, perhaps Zakynthos, perhaps Skopelos. Still trying to decide.

Vacation started in mid-June and will run into October for me. Many know that I have taken off on a four month RV trip across the northern USA and southern Canada. I am combining two of my loves on this trip: golfing and sightseeing.

When I get home from this trip I am flying out to Ireland and then to Argentina this year.

I guess when you are retired, like I am, everyday is a vacation.

My vacation started in early May and has yet to end, so far I have toured Pisa, Florence, and the Italian Northern coast and many places in between, shame I have to work longer hours come September

well I am on the first day of my "staycation" applause

Day 1 .. today I have explored the outer reaches of the back lawn, evicting swathes of moss hiding in the turf.. secateurs to the ready I trimmed the rose bush

undetered I continued my tour onwards into the front garden, where I participated in a local tradition of.. digging

tired n muddy I retired to the patio where I partook of the local delicacy ..

tea n toast Ahh!
