Sat Jul 11, 2009 2:13 PM CST : When a Dream happens. . . who has one to tell?
For about a year a constant dream about a head on collision. In Jamaica on our way to Dunn's River Fall's. About half way there a Honda Civic and a Navigator type suv head on right beside our van. Saw it all, after that the dream stopped. It was so close to my dream!

Wow.. now that had to be an amazing coincodence..or dejavu in reverse?? dunno rolling on the floor laughing But I have had similar dreams that seemed to come true... they do say that dejavu, is simply a forgotten dream.. So you tell me??? uh oh teddybear

Bentlee, sounds like your dream had a purpose to warn you of this, and there was a possibility of a different outcome that didn't happen for some reason. Yes, I believe in dreams foretelling possible future happenings.

The other explanation for things like this is that they're markers to tell us that we are exactly where we're supposed to be on our path. Deja vu and dreams like this can be things we agreed before coming in would be landmarks we'd recognize that we are on target.

Either way, glad that it didn't have worse consequences, and you're still with us. wine hug

Lots of Deja vu over the years. Never heard forgotten dream tho. I've experienced the same deja vu twice that i recall.

Hi Dru, i like your analogy, the marker point too i truly believe that. I also believe one can get back on track if they happen to take the wong turn, then get back to meeting point markers. Cheers an ty. :)

I used to have a dream that a close friend would die. When I turned 13 my best friend was shot and killed. He died in my arms, to honor my best friend I named my son after him.
