druidess6308: Often a thread will degenerate into fighting and get pulled because of it, and it's not the fault of the Thread Author when that happens. I'm sorry it's happened to you, Rohaan. And also to WonderWorker. I had a thread get locked for this reason once as well. Not much you can do about what others do in your thread, either. I've tried, and once they start, you can't stop them. And they will let you know that you have no right to tell them what they can and can't post and where...and they're correct. Only the mods can control that, by doing what they've done in those cases...locking a thread and putting a message at the end as to why, or pulling it completely so it's as if it never existed. And which is their choice as well.
Honestly, I've never known it to be without good reason. And if it does appear to be without good reason, it's usually at the request of the Thread Author.
thanks for the explanation. I always appreciate you for this--sometimes when I need a clear answer to something alls I seem to get is smart-assy stuff. I understand better now about the threads. Here you go -
