The only thing special about being immortal is the fact that you don't die. Bu it would seem to me that you would have to watch your families your friends everyone around you die. Doesn't sound appealing to me in that light.
Now if everyone was immortal, I would have to ask does this include wrinkles gray hair? Or do we get to keep our youth too?

catchastar2: The only thing special about being immortal is the fact that you don't die. Bu it would seem to me that you would have to watch your families your friends everyone around you die. Doesn't sound appealing to me in that light.

No, I would not like to be immortal in body. It's enough for me that my soul is immortal. I like knowing that at some point, this life has an end, and that there are serious consequences to some actions because of this. It makes some of us take better care of our bodies, knowing that what we do affects their ability to live on longer and healthier. wine

Yes if and only if the people I care about can be immortal too. It would suck to watch everyone you love die. You can always find new loves but they will die eventually to.
