But did you know you can check who is IMing you by going to mailbox and clicking on IM requests on the left hand side?

I posted this a while ago but i have been forced to refer to it again . WIthin the past few months i have had a bombardment of messages popping up on my IM window. While some have the courtesy to say "hi " or "how are you" some on the other hand are down right rude and disrespectful. Now, im sure that it will be suggested that i turn my IM off, but, i dont want to because i do have friends that chat to via that and i dont see why i should have to . I have manage to block some of these people but every time CS upgrade the the site i have to go back and reset the IM settings and sometimes i dont realise i have to until some other undesirable pop up with some stupid statement or remark.

I find it intrusive myself and leave it turned off. I actually would never IM someone I did not already know and I would rather be treated the same way. But I guess that's just me.dunno
