Then I would say yes, that the human race has caused the most damage to this planet than any other species known.

Yeppers.......no other "animal" murders. Yes, animals kill, but for survival. Some species of chimps have been studied and known to kill their same type of primate for the sake of territory when invaded by other "tribes" but not outright murder for kill joy.

Plus, species have become endangered and extinct for their fur, tusks, husks, horns, or worse their penis' for soup or as trophies.

Also, we as humans, are indirectly killing the polar bear and many different varieties of whale via global warming and net fishing.

Each species has an intricate meaning to life and for being on this earth. Deplete any species and we all suffer directly or indirectly from a lady bug eating on a leaf to the butterfly flapping it's wings in the Amazon Rain Forest to the honey bees polunating our flowers.

Humans are the only species on the planet who kill for pleasure....wonder what would be different if we weren't at the top of the food chain????

1.the egg came first because other animals that came before the chicken had eggs of some kind.
2.in a dictionary the word "chicken" comes before the word "egg"
3.if the chicken came first ,it came from the egg,and if the egg came first ,then it came from the chicken

It really is an amazing topic - to fathom our own 'uniqueness'. Some animals species do kill for the 'bloodlust' of it, and so do 'humans'. We are 1 chromosome removed from the chimpanzee, and act in socialistic colonies as well. We have a higher awareness and range of emotions, but do not differ all that much.

Hmmm. Our level of creativity is superior than animals, and that mixed with our sense of 'self' or 'ego' and coupled with our 'arragance' is what makes us highly dangerous. We are crafty on top of creative, and if we don't watch it, can be our own undoing. I don't know of any other species besides 'human' that is at the brink of total annihilation with nuclear abilities.
