dirko63: This thread is the biggest Yoke going today

This is no yoke man! Big city folks eat egg white omelettes and I often wonder where are those yolks man!

USThumper: If you like them that much, I have seven that hatched last night. Not much meat on them though.
I like my baby chickens still in the shell to start and to tell the truth they don't look much like a bird at alllaugh

What kind do you have? The ones in my pic are Rhode Island Reds, about 3-4 weeks old near as I know.

BTW, eating hatchlings must be like eating shark fin soup. make soup out of the fin & throw the whole shark away. What a waste!

A hen can easily lay 1200 to 1500 eggs in her lifetime, where is the economy in eating a hatchling?

I dont eat the chicken eggs you buy in the store either. Try some from chickens that are running loose. The yolks are firmer and richer looking, and they taste totally different.bouquet
