"My daughter and I drove out to a neighbouring suburb to pick up one of her girlfriends to visit for the day.
Coming back we saw a tall young man, shaved head, stylish winter clothing and the usual sunglasses rounding off the picture.
On the end of a leash strectched taut, his Brindle Bull Terrier dog was straining with every fibre in it's stocky body, tongue out, slobbering, grunting, ever forward, while he strained with every fibre in his body, digging his heels in, braking, at a 45 degree angle!
We laughed out loud and he grinned at us sheepishly.
If that leash had snapped he would have fallen right trough to the other side of the planet and met up there again only with the dog, who would have shot off like a missile, not able to stop for quite some distance!"
