Why is it acceptable to the administration of this site for men to be shirtless on their profiles, but not for women?

Why is it that the women are fine, within the forums for men to be shirtless, but get a little undone if a woman is?

Who sets the moral barometer? And why?
I think it goes along the line of why is it ok for a woman to kiss a woman, but a man that's kisses a man is looked a differently.
Along the lines its ok for a woman to lay on the beach topless and have a g-string only, but if you walked past a guy sun baking in a g-string he would be looked a weirdly.

Hmmm... You have a great point. I have posted a picture of me at the beach. In no way am I trying to turn anyone on. I'm at the beach pretty much everyday an it seems that is the only time I get my picture taken. If my picture is unsatisfactory to you let me know. Maybe I can photo shop on a nice pin strip suit or something??? would that be better??? jk. lol. confused

I have no problems with semi or full nudity, if anyone wishes to flash their hide, well, do.

Still, checking the average "style" on the site before posting an image to be your main image would make sense. On CS that is clearly a dressed picture, perhaps with a knitted hat to it (EU forums joke).

What they choose to have as their other pictures should be very much up to each and every one as long as it conforms somewhat to the rules.
But turning the nose skywards simply because of a profile photo? No, I did not, no yet. Instead I found many other reasons to do that


If they decide to post as their other photos, it's no biggie. That way I have the option of looking at them. Not like having them all up in my face (your default) all day. If I wanted that, I'd visit those "other sites". cool

That's off topic though. I really just wanted to know how many women like or dislike them. Not too many men seem to be able to explain what they are trying to say with their shirtless pics. I'm guessing I already know...
