I was going to telephone a woman I met recently just the other day..... for the life of me I couldn't remember her name!

Two elderly gentlemen are playing cards one Saturday evening as they have done for the past 35 years. Max, the older, had been having problems remembering what cards were what, and usually needed help from his wife.
At the end of the card game Ed said to Max, "You did very good tonight. You didn't need any help at all. Why is that?"

Max replied, "Why ever since my wife sent me to that memory school, I haven't had any problems at all."

"Memory school? What memory school?"

Max thought for a moment, "Oh, what's that flower that's red with thorns? A really pretty flower...?"

"A rose?"

"Yeah...that's it!" Max turned to his wife and mumbled, "Hey, Rose! What's the name of that memory school you sent me to?"

OM Goodness...I do this all the time. I took 2 breaks a day for a year with the mechanics, when I worked. I couldn't tell you their names and they had it on their shirts. I'm awful with names. I went out to eat with a girl from class the other day and I don't remember her name.

Oh mee...I'm going to shut up now or somebody is going to think I'm blonde.laugh

woodzchick: OM Goodness...I do this all the time. I took 2 breaks a day for a year with the mechanics, when I worked. I couldn't tell you their names and they had it on their shirts. I'm awful with names. I went out to eat with a girl from class the other day and I don't remember her name.

So this explains why a guy will call and say, "hi, how are you?" They are careful not to be in a position where they need to call your name. frustrated rolling on the floor laughing

Don't feel bad, I am the same way!! I am horrible with names. You have to really make a big impression or knock me over the head with a pan for me to remember your name!! But once I remember, I don't ever forget!!! grin cool
