hmmm...the most memorable for all the wrong reasons was havin a date in a steakhouse and the waitress havin the hots for my date...it was very very obvious and she was not very kind to me in the way women can usually be unkind to each other without a man noticing! Also later that night I actually got food poisoning! So who knows? Maybe she took my steak out of the bin??

Luckily my date was a true gent and let me be ill on his couch (I lived too far away to get the train in that condition!)...

One time.....the service was so bad......I went to the bathroom with my full cup of coffee,,,,and threw it all over their bathroom.
Thry want to give me s.hit service.....they're gonna clean up the coffee mess in the bathroom.

I woulda just complained to the manager and refused to pay for it though....rather than payin them and makin a mess that also screws up other people's experience - cos presumably somebody wanted to use the bathroom after you...

The worst service I ever had in a restaurant was about 20 years ago. My order was wrong & I called over a waiter to talk about it. He said: "Yep, that's not my fault, that's Sharon's fault (another waitress) She is hopeless and always gets orders wrong. We're trying to fire her atm."

Eventually he went to the kicthen to sort out my order & "Sharon' came over. She told me that it was not her fault my order was wrong, but that in fact, it was the waiters fault who had just been complaining about her to me.

With no food in sight 15 minutes later, I asked to speak to their manager. The manager came over & also blamed "Sharon" & the waiter I'd just spoken to, saying both of them were hopeless. I told her that I didn't really want to argue about her staffing problems, just get the food I wanted. By then about 5 staff members were standing behind the manager, listening to every word being said, including the waiter & waitress who were both protesting the whole thing & insulting each other.

I told them I had never encountered anything so unprofessional & left without eating, or paying. Pretty hilarious in hindsight.

I didn't pay for the bill.....and made a mess.I win.....both ways.

Nobody needs to be sorry. Sympathy is the last thing I need. But I dont think he was joking about his reaction and people who cant control their temper or focus it in a non violent way freak me out a bit....anyway, Im cool. And I totally why you're creeped out by the horse...
