Goodness gracious, great balls of fire. What in the world, where did you hear that? Ok, well the story is this, since you didn't read your Bible. Adam and Eve were living in the garden, but God said do not eat from a specific fruit tree, for it would surely mean death. Well, of course God was implying they would not die unless they ate from that tree, then the serpent (satan) tempted Eve into eating the fruit (which could have been anything, but apple is what everyone calls it) and so God was angry and threw them out of the garden. Of course they grew old and died after having a tribe of children. But if they didn't eat the fruit, they would have never died. In some cases, some translate it as a tree of wisdom in which they then knew what was good and what was bad, but of course that didn't make sense since they already knew what good and bad was as they knew the tree was bad to eat from, but did anyway. However, it was all a test. God tests us all and from the beginning, mankind has been tested to see where their loyalty stands. Of course, people fall and then Jesus came and offered salvation to those those who believed in Him as the Son of God, for God was pretty much fed up with this world. Hence, wiped out everyone in the flood, then it was time to try something new, so He sent Jesus. And still the world is a mess, but at least there is salvation for those who accept it.
Anyway, just thought I would point that out so it wasn't so confusing.
Eve was Adams wife, they were having sex as you call it long before they ate the fruit (apple).
