OK, I know I'll never get a date after posting this; But just as annoying as scamers are, to me, are people who ask your financial status before the first date. I mean, we are "just being friends...Getting to know each other.." How does my bank balance figure whether I'm a good guy, or not?

Please, if you're looking for someone who "has goals", and "direction", don't come to a FREE dating site.
There are NO millionaires here.
If Diamonds are your best friend...Then maybe we should leave you two alone...

...Plenty of great, down to earth people. Men and women.
But no pot 'o gold.

Me too dude but I prefer to hang out with friends who pays their own share on the bill, that's how people stay friends longer than if one person keeps paying all the bills at all the time.

I keep getting emails lately from guys who want to talk on my private email. If anyone wants your email address, they could be a scammer. I mean, why can't they email people here? The email here is just as good as your Hotmail account to a normal person. The people who want your email may be planning on selling it to some creeps so that it goes on a bunch of spam lists. Don't give it to them. Really. If someone looks too good to be true, and can't live without your email, flush them.

Some people prefer chatting through yahoo or msn clients, and I believe that could be the reason for asking for your e-mail.

Not all people who want your email are scammers you know. And if you do give a scammer your email give them a fake email or someone you loathe.

help

I know I haven't known you very long and I shouldn't be asking you for this so soon, but I really need it badly. I haven't had it for a while and I can already feel it going in good and hard and coming out nice and soft. If you would do this for me no one would ever know. I am sure you can satisfy my needs and I'd be very grateful if you would. I am very desperate and I need your help. You must think by now that I have a lot of nerve but I can feel my tongue wrapping around it and sucking out all the juices until it's very dry. I am not going to beat around the bush any longer so... laugh Do you have a piece of gum? rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing tongue tongue tongue

I did have an encounter with one of the scammers from Nigeria here on CS. As usual when it comes to them, they are either doctors or some kind of engineers.

This one was a civil engineer and was from Houston, Texas. We chatted for a while and it didn't take long before he expressed his worries. His worries over an orphanage in Nigeria. I am a sensible woman and know my way around internet and know how to track down a person I am talking to.

I let him go on about the orphanage and he said he was calling the manager and jst to make everthing easy, I should transfer my donations through Western and Union. I started to laugh and by then my tracking was done. I even got the street adress. I confronted him and off course he didn't know what I was talking about.

I filled in an abuse/fake profile report and sended it to the CS with the IP-nr, country and Street adress etc, but he is still online here.

Does anyone what happens to the reports you send in about this stuff? Do the staff on CS take this seriously?

I disagree. I'm financially independent and secure, and have goals and direction and I'm here. Why wouldn't my counterpart be?

I think it would be rude to ask someone what their 'financial status' is before getting involved in a long-term relationship, but I certainly ask what someone does for a living before the first date. "Gold-diggers' come in the male variety too.
