Sometimes I despair at the intolerance of so called civilised people, where has the "live and let live" gone? Has the human race race lost all common sense, or is it just a minority who are determined to wreck it for the rest of us?

Frankly, I can't imagine such a thing happening anywhere else. Not sure why, but I just cannot.

It beggars belief that the incident, once reported by the woman, was taken seriously, and that the police charged him for it! It goes way beyond the 'live and let live' principle. It's just insane, just as you say in the title of this thread...where to be insane, there is 'no sense of reality'.drinking

Geez, poor guy... its getting tough when you cant have privacy in your own home.... and some nosey passerby cant avert their eyes... mumbling

well...this goes down with a guy hearing a thief in his garage and he gets his gun and confronts the thief telling him to put his hands up and his gun was very visible. The thief picks up a pipe and starts to swing at the homeowner.
The home owner shoots him in the shoulder not wanting to kill him.
The police come and everything was okay as it was legal self defense.
It was okay until the thief sued the homeowner for being shot and won...

this is also sad, the lady should have been arrested for being a peeping tom and her kid taken away since she was corrupting the kids morals by training them to become a peeping tom.

aside for that I'm LMAO, I feel for the guy.

And if a thief breaks into your home, trips over the sofa in the dark, breaks his leg...yep, he sues for damages, and wins!

Our bureaucrats have created a crazy society where crime perpetrators are rewarded for their misdeeds. And we wonder why crime is on the increase???doh

I'm not sure if this kind of law is limited to America, but of course it is an utterly insane law.

Consider that if it had been a man passing by and he looked in on a naked woman, he could be convicted of being a "peeping Tom."

As if there is anything "criminal" about a naked human body. doh

And the idiotic inconsistency of it. There was some guy in Chico, CA who attended classes in the nude, and mostly got away with it for the better part of a year (if memory serves). But then perhaps he was extremely well-hung and the presiding judge was a woman...?dunno hmmm

I like the small sidebar to the left of the story; under Related items , the first one is about a naked man going to the dentist, the second 'related' item says: "Trial of Aung San Suu Kyi enters final phase"...what, naked??????????rolling on the floor laughing
