I think alot of women would be put of by that for several reasons, one of them being safety the other financial.

Yep...Guys are crazy enough to travel across the world for a woman ( after all, is she not worth it? ) but the woman cannot be bothered by that, it needs to be served on a platter and preferably NOW

I see both sides:

1) A girl would not travel to see a guy but a guy can travel to see a girl, so they are not treated equally

2) There were real cases where girls were hurt or even killed; guys were not

So, putting 1 and 2 together, what it boils down to is that all guys have to suffer due to the behavior of the few crazy ones. Now, of course, the "crazy" ones mask themselves and they appear like quite reasonable ppl until it is too late, which is why it is only logical to treat ALL guys with caution from girls point of view. But still this doesn't change the fact that, as a guy, I have to be punished for the behavior of other guys.

Look at it this way, if you had a daughter would you want here to travel to another country, where she may not know the language, have any friends or family, to meet a man she has only talked to on the internet and really knows nothing about???
