Do you think copying-and-pasting posts from various Islamic blogs like this one http://www.islamonline.net/discussione/thread.jspa?threadID=26240&tstart=1
without crediting the source,

a). reflects a real view of a CS poster who does it?

or

b). committing a literary theft gives him a thrill as any other theft would?

or

c). it's just an attempt to get a long-winded fight-thread with his name as an author? hmmm

Conversational.

This reminds me of a situation last year when someone did a cut and paste and was complimented for such a well written and thought out reply... and said thank you. Shortly after someone posted the cut and paste with the appropriate reference....Busted!!!! laugh

hahaha... it's true!

But do we really want them stopped, Cris?

Of course, we all regard plagiarism is a very poor taste, and in many cases (not all) it's a serious offence. Punishable by law.

But as with everything else in forums,

I prefer seeing forumers for who they really are.

Plagiarized posts like for instance this one:

quote:"Isreal are leveling palestinian homes making it virtually impossible for them to get legal permits for new homes or extensions to existing ones. In effect Netanyahu called on the palestinians to accept total surrender. And that they have no rights beyond accepting the terms of their total defeat. Also to relinguish their own history, rights and aspirations.
The Zionist narrative is to promote the view that the historic land of Palestine is recognize as Israel and the West Bank-is the homeland of the Jewish people."

which is FULLY copied/pasted from Islamic blogs,

makes we, as I already said in my OP, wonder what's behind it {copying without crediting the source}?

And mostly what is the OP's personal point of view on the piece copied/pasted, and on the credibility of blogs it was copied from?
