To be very honest, while I was in college, I had an old Chevy Caprice. One day, while I was in class, the police towed my car which was parked on the street outside the house I was renting. The car wasn't worth $300 and they wanted close to $400 (towing, parking fine & storage) for me to get it back. Well, it snowed one day and I had a friend drive me there to clean out my personal belongings from the Chevy. At least that was my original plan as I was going to let them keep it, rather than pay them $$. However, when I got there, they had opened the gates to get the impound lot plowed and then went back inside, apparently because it was cold. So, I stole my own car out of their police lot. That was about 25 years ago and they probably still think its there in their lot. rolling on the floor laughing
I had forgotten all about that, until I saw this picture.
I ended up giving that car to my cousin a few years later. He lives in another state. I think he blew the transmission a few years later.
