Original Thread Started By Tennjudy.... and was Suggested to be in the geographical center of the United States, is Lebanon, Kansas.... A Ghost Town, I passed it a few days ago... Kansas City International Airport is the closest large airport, so determining it was Kansas City, Mo. I was honored to be asked to handle this Get Togather by Tenn Judy, as I live within reason from the Airport....
I went to the Airport Hotels and literally walked thru and looked at the setting, and for a big group of people Embassy Suites was the only one (out of six) capable of a large gathering, The setting was Fabulous, Roomy, and Peaceful.... It was The only one of about 5 that could handle fifty to a hundred people, and I have no clue to HOW MANY we will be!....

Anyone flying from a long distance, east or west coast, the estimated cost would be from $600.00 to 1200.00 if you reserve as a Package Deal (Airline and Motel, with round trip tickets), rental cars etc. is more, These are Suites, that have 2 beds, and Fold out sofa, so some could share expences with another and save alot..... I had to start another Thread to get the sign up sheet! tho someone going a hundred miles would just drive and just get motel fees, and cost substantially less...Embassy Suites-Kansas City International Airport Location

They do have a Shuttle to and from the Airport

I would suggest Travelocity.com for Price quotes etc...
I would also not buy tickets yet, in case any minor changes or discounts apply....

There is a 3:00 AM bar across the street, and one could crawl back to their room if necessary... There is a Free Breakfast , to order, every morning, has about 4 other smaller Motels within walking distance, a Waffle Shoppe, and a Ruby Tuesdays Bar and Grill within a couple blocks..

There are Big Meeting rooms that can be rented if we so desire and pitch in for it, Indoor Pool and about 10-15 Miles to Downtown Kansas City, Missouri
