Are you superstitious?

Do you believe that getting up from the wrong side of your bed in the morning will bring you bad luck? If you accidentally break a mirror, do you expect seven years of bad luck? Do you avoid walking under ladders or you wont cross the road straight after a black cat? Do you believe in chimes or have you got your favourite one.

I have one!
I have never been late for work in all my life and if it looks like I will be late on occasions I turn around go home and report in sick. laugh

I believe that there are many superstitious people in this world. But no, I don't believe in superstitions myself. And I happen to love black cats! I've owned 4 of them in my lifetime so far. wine cats meow

Hi elite wave my dear mother left me with a few superstitions that still stick ..

If you spill salt, you have to toss a pinch over your left shoulder for luck

If you drop a knife, someone else has to pick it up or you're headed for a disappointment
(I live alone so I'm running out of clean knives mumbling )

and a few other gems, let alone the guilt factor that goes with being raised as a Catholic giggle

Hi serene yes it doesn’t take much to convince the brain serious of action will occur if you do this or that... laughAs a child my brain was full of all this stuff then one day I refuse to allow anything like that to dominate my thoughts. cheers
