I think they do, but there are good reasons, not to 'judge', but to be cautious. I probably wouldn't date an Indian man until I knew his religion, for instance. Culture is very important to people. I doubt if a Mexican guy would want to date me cause I'm very independent, and in that culture the women are very submissive, stay-at-home people. You have to take some thing into consideration. It's not so much about 'judging', but about understanding, learning, finding out if cultures are compatible.handshake

I think we have all grown up with stereotypes of different cultures and nationalities but think as travel and communication between verious people has identified (well for me anyway) that all people wherever from are individuals and we tend to judge on the individual and not nationality. I would be wary however of getting mail from some nationalities but know that it is not because of their nationality but because some countries are more active at fraud and "scamming"

I do not judge a person by their nationality, but I do consider the culture they come from and how that may affect the way we communicate, bond etc....
It's important to understand the cultural differences between the nationalities so the we can get along better

You got THAT right! You have to be so careful about where some of these posts come from, although today I think I got one from New York, then claiming to be right here in Ohio, very adamantly desiring my im information.... NOT!

yeah, I would think so because people judge everybody for different reasons. Now I would never make fun of Indians that run 7-11 stores

And yet you made a point of saying it... Indians do a lot more than run convenience stores in this country, SkyBoy. My doctor is an Indian man, and my favorite college professor is also. Now HIM, I would date... He's a Christian and a brilliant man...

i don't judge by nationality. but i try to stay away from people that automatically make the assumption that they are being judged that way.
they are carrying a chip on their shoulder and will walk pst the ten people that will treat them right to find the one that won't, not realizing that they actually disproved the point they were trying to make.
and i don't owe it to anyone to prove i don't judge by nationality. if someone tries to put you in that position, they are being judgemental themselves.
they are saying," hey, i feel most of your race treats me unfairly, and it's up to you to prove different."
anyone else see the irony here?
either you like me or you don't. either i like you or i don't
based on what you say, and do.

and if you say i treated you wrong because of your nationality, i already don't like you.grin

I think sometimes unfortunately yes but that is because some people do not help portray a positive aspect of their nationality and not acting as say ambassadors of their country for example W who look to meet someone for a visa tend to come from certain countries. it's unfortunate but enough to either make you wary wave
