yeah it is just a number but when the number gets too big then it matters really. i'm 44 years old what would i have in common with a 24 year old guy? the age reflects years of experience and with experience maturity.... just my opinion!

i am with you. i suffer the same problem, especially that i prefer to talk with women older than me, but they think that i have bad intent when i am looking for them.

Tell them you are a similar age to them... you just look young for your age... that'll confuse the hell of em !!

Maybe letting your intentions be known from the start would help. Let her know how you feel about your own age group of women. But first and foremost...always be honest. My ex was almost 19 yrs older than me...and in the beginning...it wasn't a problem for us...later on it was. HTH

I think is just a number if you are looking for something casual and short term, and depends on how bit the age difference is.

If you want something long term i do think it matters, as you end up wanting different things depending on the stage of your life that your at.

Also some guys from different countries have a hidden agenda as to why they want an older women

and a noun aint nothing but a thang No seriously I dont do real young how young are you?? unless he has some maturity in his life it takes in so many factors if a woman was looking for a boy toy then it would be no problem but when you come up against someone thats serious about having someone to settle down with she will take age in consideration because when she`s 40 and you are 20 not so settling or 50 you 30 or 60 you 40 see not so sure

Age a number, that would depend on what your partner or girlfriend, wife thinks, if you are both happy, then it does not matter, I am 46 but still feel like 26, so it does not matter to me as long as shes not collecting her pension, lol , that would be going to far, lol..

Currently dating a much younger man. And the problem is with me, not with him. I have a great time with him, I desire him, and he shows me that he feels the same. But, DAMN!!! Again, it's with me...I wish I was younger. Or that he was older. I'm a realist, and I know that this is temporary...but I also see every relationship as temporary, unless proven otherwise. If I could take this man and shape him differently, I wouldn't do a thing. He's hot, he's fun, he's intelligent, he's so many things that I want in a man. But he's too damned young!!
Yes, we see the age difference. And we know that we can't form something lasting (at least, I know this). Just ask yourself this...and, believe me, I do this often....could you bring her home to meet Mom? Oh, HELL, NO! I hate our age difference, but it is what it is and I am destined to be the one to put all the cards on the table and call it as I see it. And, as I see it, it's not meant to last....but it IS meant to be enjoyed, to be appreciated for however long it might be.
Yeah, age is just a number...but it affects the older one as much, if not more so, than the younger.
