This is to honor the dead and the grieving families of those murdered today at Ft. Hood in Texas. As of now, it appears to have been inspired by a muslim named Malik Hasan Nidal, an Army Major and practicing psychiatrist. Along with 2 other men, he opened fire killing 12 soldiers and civilians before being shot dead himself by a civilian police officer who died of his wounds.very mad

I have been watching the reports, and praying for the families affected by this very saddening event. Not jumping to conclusions, and will wait to hear results of investigation into this tragic event.

G'evening Alexey...

On news they say he attacked soldiers who were getting ready to be deployed to Iraq. I don't think it has anything to do with his motive.

So senseless and sad.

43 people shot with at least one bullet. This freak had 2 handguns. How many clips did he have prepared for this evil outrage. How many more would have been killed if they had not shot him?

Absolutely sick. barf

Praying for all the soldiers at Fort Hood and their families.
ABC news reports that Malik was the lone shooter, and the other 2 soldiers who were briefly detained have been released. Over 30 soldiers readying for deployment were injured in addition! Geez! What'a mess.

This song comes to mind.

REFLECTIONS OF MY LIFE
Marmalade

The changing of sunlight to moonlight
Reflections of my life, oh, how they fill my eyes
The greetings of people in trouble
Reflections of my life, oh, how they fill my mind

All my sorrows, sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home
All my cryings (all my cryings), feel i'm dying, dying
Take me back to my own home (oh i'm going home)

(guitar solo)

I'm changing, arranging, I'm changing
I'm changing everything, ah, everything around me
The world is a bad place, a bad place
A terrible place to live, oh, but i don't wanna die

All my sorrows, sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home
All my cryings (all my cryings), feel i'm dying, dying
Take me back to my own home (oh i'm going home)

I grew up just outside of Fort Hood. My Dad served in the Army for 20 years out of there. I was very shocked and saddened. I don't think I knew any of the soldiers involved since I've been out of the area for so long but I feel for those soldiers and their families.

Here they are about to deploy to fight for our freedom and this happens.
