When I took a newspaper into my hands and read the news I was shocked, thinking about all those men and civilians that lost their lives. I just could not believe it.
I have myself my son that is in Irak now.
And another shooting here in Orlando, Florida.As I know the last news the shooter is still on the lose.
I don't have words to describe this.
My prayers are going to all those families.

The Orlando Shooter is in Custody!

Rodriguez was ultimately apprehended at his mother's apartment on Curry Ford Road about 2:20 p.m. He surrendered without any resistance as residents of Hollowbrook Apartments looked on.

Don't tell me "Americans" don't do these things...

Quiet a list to put together, Oslo. Tell me why you would accumulate a list of some of the worse criminals and murders in American history? Or do you do that for all countries? Or just pick this time to protect or shield a Islamic that has committed mass murder?

Then again instead of sending condolences to the country, you remind what the worst of human nature can be. We thank you.

Other than Oslo post in the thread....there has been exactly 2 other foreign parties to send condolences on this event. Kind of speaks volumes about the world and its opinion of America, Americans and American service personel. Those two, we truely do thank.

lookin4ubabe: Your right, it is your right to speculate. My heart just goes out to those Muslims who are honorable people that make great contributions to our society and have nothing but peaceful intentions towards America. It is not fair that they are painted with the broad brush. It is happening and it was in the news all day today about how American Muslims are affected by the acts of Muslim extremist. You are using that broad brush because you fail to make a distinction between Muslim and Muslim extremists or terrorists!! Christians have plenty of groups that tout religion as their purpose for doing things i.e Aryan Nation, Aryan Republic, Phineas Priesthood, The Covenant, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord which have been cited as an influence in a number of terrorist attacks around the world, including the 2002 Soweto bombings. But to say Christians are terrorist is not fair, in my opinion. I am just saying that I believe it is socially irresponsible to not make that distinction when good Muslim families are paying the price for the ignorance and intolerance of others. Peace.
doh The point is that muslims groups have to stand up and condemn thses acts like christian groups would be expected to do AUTOMATICALLY. As I'm sure your a regular reader of liberal/left websites, you DO know what I mean.

lookin4ubabe: Oops, I forgot to mention another "Christian" group...the Ku Klux Klan....doesn't feel that good to have yourself lumped in with groups like that does it.....or maybe it does. It is exactly the same to lump the Muslims in with the terrorist... But am I making my point yet??
And just how large are these "Christian" groups that you name? The last multiple country poll that I read had 10% of muslims justifying terrorist attacks out of a population of over a BILLION-You do the math. I doubt you'd find any like that percentage of polled cHristians who would say the same.

I am to exhausted to explain, just read the last few interactions between Bebel and I....I was simply pointing out that not making the distinction between Muslim and Terrorists was damaging to the Muslim families the same way it would be socially irresponsible not to make the distinction between Christians and Christian extremist terrorists. She went on and on about all the terrorist attacks that "Muslims" have done and it wasn't fair

Muslims groups do stand up and condemn...they are heartbroken over this!! They are constantly standing up and condemning these kinds of acts, although FOX news does not report it, but other non-biases sources do!!!

The numbers don't really matter...my point is (which you are obviously missing again)is that not one religion should be held accountable for an individual or individuals stupidity. So if numbers are important to you, your telling me that 90% of Muslims do not support terrorist attacks....hmmmm you do the math!!
