Yeah, I agree...the question was asking for her thoughts (opinion) and she gave it...so she should not be hated for not wanting gay marriage. Well, that's my opinion at least...

Carrie Prejean is under attack because she had the courage to go against political correctness and honestly state her view on gay marriage. The Hollywood types who want to steer our culture and set our standards hate her for going against them.

The people who are trying to change our culture and socially engineer the people of the United States greatly resent Carrie Prejean's response to the question put to her regarding homosexual marriage. When she honestly stated that she did not support it, that made her an enemy of the elite in the news and entertainment media. The news and entertainment media, which are really one and the same, great wish to have all Americans see the world and and the United States the way they do.

There is an intense cultural war under way to have the majority of Americans believe in and approve of and support the issues important to the liberal elite in the United States (and the Western world in general) These issues are: Homosexual marriages and rights homosexual rights in general, Socialism in general, support of Union membership, redistribution of wealth, Abortion on demand, Gun control, Secularism and the weakening of Christianity, and probably a few more I am forgetting.

But Carrie Prejean became a stumbling block and the liberals want to undercut her for her beliefs.

She is entitled to her opinion of course.

In her country and in her family she was raised that way, she says.........

She is representing California......so.......where exactly is her country, that it's views are different from everyone elses, and that allows her to cite it as having the same views as her?

Her answer is a bit contradictory. Initially she states it's great to be a able to chose ... then ends with marriage should be between a man and a woman because that's the way she was raised.

I don't see it as such, being contradictive; meaning, she stated it was a choice and so she gave hers.

Well either way it is interpreted, being labeled a dumb bitch is rather harsh. Would people rather she lie about her opinion just to be politically correct?

This was a loaded question and because she gave an honest answer to her belief, it wasn't taken too kindly by those supporting gays.

Questions such as that should NOT be given in a beauty pageant, as I think it's unnecessary and not relevant to what the pageant is supposed to represent. Had it have been a beauty pageant of politicians, then by all means, let them have at it!

All this political correctiveness is getting way out of hand....and now out of control. It's just another way to take away our freedom of speech. JMHO.
