I can tell you that getting what I thought I wanted was not what I expected. I have decided to throw what I want out the window. Sometimes we get what we need even though we don't like to admit it. I rejected the nice guys years ago because I felt I didn't deserve them. Here I am now, wanting the nice guy. What we want is not always what we need or is best for us. If we all had the friends or family who looked out for use and if these friends and family knew how to talk to us when we are young and stubborn, I think we would be in couples, happy, wedded, and with a family. It's the self-destructive cycle that ruins us all, because we lose so much time, time we could have been happy and growing.
