One of my favorite romantic movies which may not seem romantic all was Cherry 2000. Cherry 2000 was an android. This guy had a good job and had this android. He was happy with her because she was programmed to make him happy. But she got short circuited while he was trying to make out with her when she was washing dishes. He had to get a new brain for her because her programming got damaged. He found this woman who charged him to go into the bad lands to get a new brain for his android. Along the way she saw how much her loved the android. She got jealous of the android. She tried to convince him that a real woman was better than an android. He did not agree. So she finally finds the brain and the android is whole. He is happy. But then he has to make a decision between an imperfect woman and a perfect android. What a dilemna. He wanted a pepsi and the android was programmed to please him. He sends the android after the pepsi and then decides the imperfect woman was better than the perfect android. You get to see the woman smile. I thought it was romantic.
