Breaking Up Long Distance....

I don't know Lene..I think voices can be controlled...and letters written can be well thought out and worded correctly...but torment in a person's eyes and face can't be as easily hidden...
Well..If they were breaking up with you they would have to get up the nerve to do it. I disagree with the voice. If it hurts them, it will come up. I know if I am hurting it comes out when I speak.

As far as the writing goes. A person can just as easy think about what they are going to say in person before they say it.

My opinion...in love, yes, break-ups should be in person, if you truly love that person, then that moment of truth, she will "feel" ,and you will "feel" that it is really over.
Well the key to it is communication.

I have been in situations where I was face to face and told they loved me. Their eyes seemed genuine and their actions then as soon as you know they act indifferent.

Do you think the heartache is any less or any worse breaking off a "long distance" relationship as opposed to a relationship you had locally...(could not think how to word it better)

Because words come through the phone line, or via computer...does it make it colder and harsher than looking someone you loved in the eye and telling them its over???

Any thoughts on this?
dang it wikked:

I hope you are not breaking up with me.......blues

Short distance are harder, You tend to see that person again, so it's harder to work on it, long distance is bye bye i never will see you again.

I've lived the love, the pain, the tears, the joys, and the heartaches of a long distance relationship for 9 going on 10 years now.

There are two human beings at either end of a relationship whether it be next door, or (In my case) 3,000 miles and two different countries away. There are laws, there are conditions, there are circumstances, situations, personalities, attitudes, and a whole array of emotions.

Is it easier to break-up long distance? That depends on the individual heart. If you can simply walk away from a long distance relationship then of course a short distance relationship would be harder because you would be a scared that YOUR feelings would get hurt. If you could walk away from a long distance relationship the other persons feelings must not be important enough to you and that is sad.

I've been doing this long enough to know what I am talking about so: no it would not be any easier to break-up long distance.

So are you saying you choose to be alone the rest of your life or choose to be in relationships with no feelings?
