Love does not discriminate...it is not exclusive to any one particular shape or size...and beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

I see lots of women on here that are slender or skinny (whatever is the politically correct term...)and they are single...however i don't see very many threads dedicated to why they are not loved...confused

P.S. I am NOT a skinny womanapplause

SPRINGFIELD IN THE HOUSE !!!! Hi sweetheart, I'm from Cincy myself and I always give a shoutout to those in and around my hometown. as far as your question... I don't consider myself hot but I don't judge on the size of the waist , or the beauty of face... but the quality of heart and character. that is what's important to ME dear wave

You can be overweight and healthier than a thin person, but it is usually not the case:

"Just a little fat can shorten life, study says"
Rob Stein
Washington Post

Bad news for all those baby boomers starting to pile on the pounds as they go through middle age. You don't have to be obese -- just a little overweight -- to increase your risk of dying prematurely, according to a large government study.

The 10-year study of more than 500,000 U.S. adults found that those who were just slightly overweight in their 50's were 20 to 40 percent more likely to die in the next decade.

The article goes on to say more but at the risk of offending anyone I'll stop. What gets me is how everyone thinks that they are being singled out for being overweight because of how some may find it unattractive. What about the health reasons for the rejection???
So, your saying you woulnt date anyone who may have some sort of health risk? That cuts out people who have EVER smoked, ever been exposed to second hand smoke, been exposed to asbestos, etc.. Im a big girl, and have had some of the sweetest and most attractive men ask me out...I doubt they were thinking..."I would like to go out with her but since she is overweight...there may be problems down the line"....Hell...you can be skinny and have health problems...and be rejected!

What is with this size thing. Geez everywhere I look there
it is. I think the question is,"When you look in a full
length mirror are you fine with what you see?" If the answer
is yet, then go out and live to the fullest. If no then
do something to change, we are the only one that can make
ourself feel good about who we are. If we do not love the
person or body we see then how can we expect others to
love us?

Yeah, this size stuff is everywhere wow!

What I think about "big" women, is that if they can accept the way they are, then they're not big...

Ok...I would like to know if any of us big girls have went on the BBW dating site's? They are there, and there are some very"Hot" guys there, so check it out! Myself as I have stated, have a heart problem and I am a big girl, 5:10 and 235. Have been on a diet since I first had health problems, and not making much head way on losing weight, but, I try. I have been out with a man who after we had gotten to know each other, and spent the night together, sated, "Big girls are fine as frog hair to sleep with but, he would never take me around his friends, I would embarss him to bad", so he would have sex with me and I had to never go around his friends or family? WRONG! I am just as good, if not better than most and I will never let anyone put me down, I will never settle for 2nd best either! And don't you either!yay
