I know of course this cannot competete to losing a child in death.
The most broken thing for this Dad is losing a child in divorce.

I think that the most broken thing in my life would be my heart, but I am sure that you experience that with losing your children in divorce and the divorce in general.

I think the most broken thing in my life right at this moment is also one of the most proud moments of my life too. My oldest son joined the National Guard today...SO my thoughts are going crazy...

The most broken thing i have right now is my heart...within that heart is the loss of a happy home..my children, the uncertainty of a future...all those things and more...all within one broken heart..

To feel broken emotionaly, spiritualy and all loss of dignity. I've experienced it twice. The first time due to alcoholisme and the second time due to an abusive spouse. But it has made me the person I am today. Strong and comfertable where i am in my life.

when ben committed suicide, my soul literally fractured...

as i lie here all alone
staring at the bright blue moon
i feel a little tug upon my heart
fate has once again pulled us apart....

i watched as you retreated, you hid
in a world full of lies
that i couldn't fit in....

my heart shatters
my teardrops, like rain
they splatter
on what was once my soul.

excerpts from the last thing i ever wrote. unfortunately, i no longer have it memorized.

<--- My heart...

professor Tis' your heart when you look at what life deals you.. that is the thing that is most broken... here are some reasons why it is the heart that is most broken-

Failing relationship (yea intimate)
Failing Friendships (on line, and in real life)
Deaths of people we love
Deaths of loved pets
Screwing up at work
etc....

professor

The one thing we can count on is CONTINUALLY HEALING/ RECOVERING our hearts, and growing from what we have felt.. sharing the data, of the emotion, and the experience.. to help eachother learn.

My dear, breath in and breath out, each and every moment .. think each time you breath just for a second... now be thankful that you will never have to be broken emotionally that many times in life.

You will heal... I send you hugs and kisses from the far North.
hug
