Catch More Flies With Honey??

I was just channel surfing on the TV and stumbled over Shania Twain's video "Party For Two" She was so upbeat and fun that if I were a guy, I would surely want to date her. So guys, tell us, is it really true that a girl can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar? Does a happy woman attract you more than a lady who is serious, desparately looking or has a sad tale to tell?

Yeah, I like Shania too. Here first few songs really
did things for me, especially on video, taking my mind
off JS Bach for a while. But to answer Arabella, I do
like a woman who is happy, but not all the time. I like
one capable of being serious and who is serious, and who
is emotional when appropriate, for example when someone
is hurting. But I don't like women who are always
whining and complaining and sad and miserable and emotional far more than is appropriate. You know there
are such women. I've dated them!

There seems to be so much negative out there these days, especially the news! As a matter of fact, just last week I had a guy IM me and we started talking...while we were talking he started crying aboaut his ex, whining the entire time about how she wont talk to him. Geez...I tried to be nice and talked to him more than once..but he never stopped whining. I finally told him there was nothing I could do for him, and that I didnt need that sort of relationship. He thanked me for "dumping him early"...hahaha...we had talked maybe 3 times for a maximum of 5 minutes, tops!! I think it's quite nice to find someone that's joking, laughing and upbeat most of the time.

I'm really possitive(sp?) person and I'll rant and rave about stupid things like Spam, but girls are like "OMG ALL FAT PEOPLE ARE HAPPY!" and I'm like "Just no...."

Then I'll cry like a little girl! lol jk

The upbeat Shania is doing nothing more than selling her honey.

A good mixture of sweet and upbeat and sometimes sensitive and sour is how it is. We all have our moments of up/down, happy/sad etc so the real trick is to keep it honest and upfront and from the heart and not just putting out a honeypot.

I think the way to look at this is just like anything else. When you first meet someone, you are putting on your "best face", showing all of your positive qualities. Everyone likes somebody who is upbeat and outgoing, but like was said by Monsieur Doogle, it can't be that way always. Sooner or later you're gonna show youe not so attractive qualities , and if someone really loves you, they will take you for better or worse.

Does honey attract??? SURE!!

But it is the love of the entire individual which is the glue that binds and intertwines the two into one.

Hello,I really think it is always nice to have all sides ..I think most of my guy friends told me they like a girl that is nice and can take a joke, but my past boyfriend said he really liked my sense of humor if things were just getting a little to serious, but he said he always was trying to make me really mad because he wanted to see me once this way,all he heard was my stories of me upset,lol..Well he made me mad once and it never happened again..lol..So in my opinion guys like a bit of spice in relationships..

I find that if you cover your body in credit cards it attracts a lot of women, but trust me, the wrong kind!
