Same act, different meaning. Both are good. But for you... is it one in the same or are you capable of both? wink

To me, all sex is making love no matter how silly, playful or role-played it might be.

I will only have sex with someone I love. It's that simple.

I know,...

I'm really strange.

That's ok,...

That's what make me unique I suppose. wave

Great question and yes there is a difference. making love involves feelings and emotions. Getting laid doesn't have to involve anything but getting laid.

It does for me.

I can't separate the feelings from the act.

Or maybe to be more precise I simply wouldn't want to.

The act alone without the feelings isn't worth my time.

I'd rather go sailing or whatever.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that Abra. I'm not saying there shouldn't be feelings and emotions no matter if it's making love or just having sex, I'm saying that both men and women can do it without feelings. Take for example the abused wife that gives it to the man because she has to... Is that making love or having sex?

I have gone for two years without it myself because my girl lives on the other side of the continent, so I do understand what you're saying.

sometimes we know why someone remains single....just from one simple line of wordsrolling eyes

im in agreement with James, i much prefer emotion to be part of it. sometimes the one i love and i make love...other times its a raw, heated passion commonly known as f-ing. either way, i love him and whatever emotion is being felt at the time..its perfect and beautiful.

anyone can get laid...it takes something more, something special...for the realllllllly good stuff.

I'D HAVE TO SAY THAT I THINK THERE IS ALSO A DIFFERENCE. WHEN I MAKE LOVE I'M TOTALLY INTO MY PARTNER, EXPRESSING PASSION, EROTISISM, TRANSFERRING MY FEELINGS OF LOVE, WHILE GETTING LAID (SEX) IS JUST A TEMPORARY SEXUAL FIX.
