I am a nice guy but I am attending the school of “Being a Bad Boy/Bad Ass” Upon graduation I plan to be a bad boy on Saturdays after 9 PM and upon request only. Why? Because I really do like being a nice guy. I have a great since of humor, fun to be around, easy going and fun loving. I love my family, my dog and my truck. Well, the problem is... If you think you have to change and become a "bad guy" to attract ladies, you will end up with "bad girls". I married two! lol I decided to stick to my guns this time around and be who I am. If someone doesn't like it then F them! lol (ooops that was bad boy, huh?) Anytime you take a chance on love you run the risk of getting hurt. End up with the wrong woman and that hurt can last alot longer! Be who you are, it might take longer to find that right person, but the rewards are worth the wait! Good luck!

well as far as nice guys go, I like nice guys and I know there are alot of mean women out that take advantage of a nice guy, but there are still some of us who don't. and i hope you keep an open mind and not let the mean women out there get you down. cause i am trying to weed through the mean men who don't care to find that one nice guy. good luck in your searching just remember we are not all bad.

Why do the nice gals always have to live so far away?

While there are times that I can be a bit of a prick, the fact remains that having been raised to conduct myself as a gentleman - I'm darn near always a nice guy. And yeah, I've been stepped on and kicked to the curb, but I've always gotten up, brushed myself off and said "Excuse me! I didn't realize that I'd applied for the job of door mat." And taken my leave. Being a nice guy is NOT a fault - Treating a good person like dirt, IS.

I have a bit of difficulty believing someone's mean to a guy just because they are nice. I mean, for that reason alone. If a person's mean to a nice person, then they're going to be mean to everyone else. I sometimes wonder if, just because someone is "nice," they think that the world (or a lady, for example) owes them something for their "good behavior." And whether or not they perceive any type of rejection as a personal affront to them. "I was nice to her, but she turned me down. I don't understand. I was being nice!" I don't know whether that applies to the OP of this thread or not, but I'll bet at least one person here could see themselves in this scenario.

I think there is a difference between being a gentleman and being nice to a fault. Just because one is a polite, agreeable sort of person does not mean that he or she is also a pushover. Or invites pushing...

I used to fight at the drop of a hat. I don't any longer. But it doesn't mean that I'm automatically a target for those who still do...
