I miss the obvious. A woman to share life with. A woman in my life could create future memories. Everything else has come and gone, no regrets. Paws

In response to:
I miss my ex - But my aim is improving!

I miss the best friend I ever had on this earth - a 15 year old yellow tabby tomcat named Tommy.

...The thrill of thinking that Santa actually HAD been there.

...The solitude of close companionship shared with a significant other while watching the sun set.

...My father - Although thanks to the insideousness of Alzheimer's, I actually missed him for 2 years before he passed away.

...Having a "normal" life.

...The days when driving a truck was fun and rewarding and I could actually romanticize it.

...Seeing the way my mom & dad used to look at each other and just nod and smile as if they shared a special secret - They did... It was called love.

...The look of love in a woman's eyes and knowing that it was directed at me.

...Skipping rocks across a myriad of ponds, streams and rivers while growing up.

...Fishing with my Granddad...

...Backpacking alone for 3 months without feeling the need to carry a firearm for "protection."

...Waking up next to someone I love.

...Falling asleep with someone who loves me.

Ad infinitum...
wow wow!

Being able to read a book, watch tv, sew, or just sit in the dark in silence.

There won't be any for 15 more years! D'oh!
