Rashell, I'd like to know what time that was. I'm 15yrs older than u and i know it hasn't happened in my lifetime and unfortunately there's a good chance it won't happen in my daughters lifetime either so once again u must be thinking of urself. I do however remember when music on cassettes was the hottest thing since records which i am sad to say i also remember being the hottest form of music..LOL I have a vague recollection of 8-track tapes too. Good lord i'm old!! LOL

I remember reel-to-reel, drkeyed! And 8-tracks were the hottest thing since paper towels, but we still danced to our records. Remember to little dealies we put in the singles to hold them on the peg? I always wondered why they didn't just make them with the same size hole as a 10-inch album.

Doncha remember the 45 changers with the complicated
mechanisms up the center posts. RCA bet the farm
on these 45 changers that would hold big stacks of
singles while the other guys bet on LPs. The center
posts had to be big enough to hold the complicated
mechanism and support the weight of the stack of
singles.

yep, we used to see how many records we could stack on 'em. Whoever got the biggest stack had the coolest record player.

I remember the reel to reel too! We used to sing in the microphone to the Herman's Hermits and Tommy Roe, our older sister's albums.

You know Drkeyed, that was exactley what I thought right away. People have always judged people, for the color of their skin, deformities, etc. If you think about it though, a good personality always makes you look better, wink!
