rhy...that's funny...
i remember weble wables, candy bars for $0.25, coke in a glass bottle...a one car garage in town with a couple machanics working on cars - one gas pump outside, and old kind of coke machine where you had to lift the lid to put your change in and to get your glass bottled coke out...i remember the choices was coke classic, sprite, orange soda, and grape soda...I remember when all the beauty shops had those kinds of coke-cola machines...I remember the $0.25 postage stamp for an envelope...I remember $0.18 cent postcard stamps...

Nah! I kinda understand what you are saying Adj4u. It is kinda cool though being able to chat on the computer and meet people from around the world and get different views.

I remember the days when there were no computers.

I remember the days when me and all of my friends could play outside unattended without the fear of being kidnapped. My son does not have that luxury..

I remember the days when I thought that my purpose in life was to explore the woods and play in the dirt

Hope you are altight and healthy now White,

I remember the days when A few times in my childhood my Dad would crack us up by putting his cocoanur bra and straw skirt he got in Hawaii during WW2. He was so halarious wiggling around like a hula girl with a big shit eating grin on his face. He also had a picture where he cracked the guys up on his ship with it when he was still enlisted. God he was funny!! Also his acting like he was winding himself out of the chair with a crank and made the noise. I know he sounds goofy but he did it to make us smile. His special Dad humor. He was a great Father too in other ways! I'm also lucky to have a great mom too! Sorry, I was just thinking of how much I miss him.

I remember when my grandfather was alive and I was a little girl. His parents came from France, and we spent many happy hours together. I remember that we used to dress uo and perform for guests that would come over to his house. He would out on a straw hat and would be Maurice Chavalier to my Shirley Temple, and he would sing "Thank Heaven For Little Girls" to me and I would sing "You Are My Sunshine" . We would do a little tap dance to this, I will never forget.

I used to go to church with my g-ma and before the kids went to Sunday school we would walk up to the alter with our dues and we would sing, "Jesus Loves The Little Children" It was my favorite part of church.

When i went to preschool (3 years old) and i reallly didnt like it cos everything was blue. the play-doe, the paint, the walls, the toilets. I used to beg my mum to tell them to make everythin pink. Also we would have nap time but i wuld run over to the book shelf and hide behind there and read spot (3 words on each page), or sneak up the stairs wit my friend and play doctor and nurse with the dolls cos there was like a bedroom setting and stuff. I ended up changing preschool cos they didn't change it to pink.
