Nice of your camp counsellors to have such an effect on you.

Did they also put bigfoot prints around your tent for your morning discovery as well?

Pretty women scare the hell out of me! I get all tongue tied, sweaty palmed and nervous. I blush alot, afraid to even speak, for fear that it won't make any sense or that it'll make too much sense or actually come out sounding witty - And then I'll be expected to repeat the performance!

The thought of interacting with a pretty lady sends shivers down my spine for fear that it might lead to something more... Or that it might not!

Soooo... I reckon that's why I came to CS - Since there seems to be a rather disproportionate number of attractive ladies here, I'm hoping that I can finally overcome this phobia!

*I just re-read what I'd typed - My God, what a shallow, disengenuos prick! Is my first reaction. But I can't bring myself to change it... Mostly because, though written tongue in cheek, it's also true...*

I'm scared of being thought of as lazy, or good for nothing. Like my father always told me I was. I'm scared that my children will one day be taken from me, or molested by a friend, or killed in an auto accident. I'm scared to lose my temper again. I'm scared that glaucoma will take my babies sight, and she'll not be ready to cope with that.

And horses. Had a BAD experience with a horse when I was younger. Just can't figure out how a 225lb man is supposed to make a 1500lb animal do what I want it to do....

I know Ron...I feel that sometimes..

For me another thing is not living up to my potential..not following dreams..beleiveing in myself enough..to do what it takes..

I have had a fear of having to choose between that and love...but it's kinda irrational (sorry for the spelling)comfort

I'm scared of snakes, heights and RATS!!!!!

Fortunately my fear of heights does not stop me from flying...because I know how to trick my mind into believing I am high not off the ground....By not looking during take-off or landing!!!!!

Get me near a snake or rat however and I FLIP!!!!!!!

Of the "empty nest syndrome", because my son who is will be 18 in January, leaves for Tennessee college in June after he graduates High School, and my 21 year old daughter is already married and away, I don't see her that often. I'm NOT getting any younger, and as someone put it the other day....my looks are fading too and I'm afraid of spending the rest of my life alone. Since pug dogs don't speak english, it gets purdy lonesome by yourself.dunno sigh D'oh!

Feeling or being trapped - no, not claustrophobic ( sp?) - more the sense that I can't escape, can't get out/away. I can react in very irrational ways uh oh!

I am scared sh*tless by spiders, thats why I like Ohio, they are smaller here, compared to the monsters you folks have down south. The whole time I was in Fl. people said to watch for snakes, ants, spiders and last alligators. Then I seen the biggest damn spider I ever seen, even bigger than the ones on TV. He caught my 12 1/2 boot, real fast.

I know with me...it's the ability to be able to identify how high off the ground I am!!!!

I can fly as long as I don't have a window seat and I don't look out the window during take off or landing........yet get me 10 feet off the ground and I panic!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm scared to death of snakes. Mine is to the point where it's actually a phobia. I can't even watch them on tv. I was flipping through a nature magazine and came to the center fold, which was two pages covered with snakes just all over the page in a huge pile. Needless to say the book went flying across the room and it took me 10 minutes to stop shaking.

I also don't like spiders, rats, roaches, and lizards.
