I have to agree with most of what you all have written, but I think True Love is even something more. Yes, it is physical, it is spiritual, and it is emotional but it is also truly finding the other half of yourself...not an exact half, but you will find that all the jagged pieces of yourself that have been unfillfulled will mesh almost exactly with your true love. When you are with that special person all others will be only people...with your true love you will be one. No one else can even come close to taking his/her place and you don't even look at others in a physical way...you are complete, you don't need to look any further than your heart to know this.

It's true, though. We don't love ourselves enough. Sometime we love ourselves too much, lol. Don't do that...

i think too many ppl love themselves too much and think of others not enuf... those ppl will always be like that.

What about us ppl that do care for ourselves, and do have and want to give out love also... I know what love is.. Or I know what I want it to be - or what It shouldnt be - like my exhusband and i... that wasnt truelove.. Im not sure what that was - but if that was love than I wont no part of that again.

True love does begin with loving yourself. another important element in true love is learning to forgive. We all make mistakes, and more than not, we throw love away because we cant find it in our ego filled hearts to forgive someone for hurting us. if you cant love and forgive yourself how will you be able to share those great qualities with anyone else???
