"Must love life to the fullest!!!"

What exactly does that mean?

The "must" at the beginning just sounds like a demand as do the three exclamation points at the end. Who's going to be the judge of this? Obviously the woman who is demanding it. This is why it's a valid question to ask precisely what this means.

I have a very deep appreciation and reverence for things. I also very much appreciate the simple things in life. Does that qualify as loving life to the fullest? Or do I need to run around like a crazy person being an enthusiastic extrovert all the time to qualify as "loving life to the fullest"?

To me there are many different ways to love life to the fullest, so that phrase alone really does nothing for me. When I see these words, and I see them often, they just appear to me to mean that the woman has certain activities that she's going to be interested in doing and any man who isn't interested in doing them will be deemed not willing to live life to the fullest.

Personally when I see that phrase I usually just click off and move on to the next profile. It just implies to me that the woman isn't going to be happy unless she's running around all the time like a social butterfly. Not my idea of living life to the fullest to be honest about it.

Now, what AlphaWolfe1954 said in the quote below looks much less demanding to me and much more accepting of the desires of her partner.

Just my thoughts on the cliché in the thread topic.

Yeah, that's why I like men younger than me.

Yes, you must skip happily through fields of flowers during the day and party hearty at night.

Well said Abra, I was going to ask exactly what 'life to the fullest' meant... does it mean enjoying every day, or does it mean pushing the envelope as if every day is your last with nothing to lose? Perspective plays a big part in this, I feel.

Now that's a lot more enlightening than just saying "live life to the fullest". At least I know what you are looking for, and it's definitely not me. I'm not a party animal, and from my point of view a woman who desires that all the time would be a drain. And this has absolutely nothing at all to do with age, because I was never a party animal. I prefer a women who like to do constructive things and actually ENJOY them. To me, that's what I would mean by "living life to the fullest"

So my only point is that the phrase is entirely meaningless because everyone lives life to the fullest in different ways. I don't live to party hearty. That's just not my thing. And it never was even when I was a teenager. So it has absolutely nothing at all to do with age.

Abra,
Okay, Okay, I will be more specific.
Not a party animal at all. But don't sit in front of the Tube all day either. I love the simple things in life the most. Sitting by the ocean and watching the waves roll in. Take the time to smell a flower once in a while. Might even stop the car and get out to look at a beautiful rainbow.
Was married to a man that felt "living life to the fullest" was being in front of the TV with the remote in one hand and a sandwich in the other. Just want someone that will at least take a walk with me.
Have a great day and thanks for the comments.
