I thought it was relevant in that some were using the bible as as source while they have no idea what it actually has to say on this topic. Just some numbers and stats that indicate very few actually read the book. Of the one that read an even smaller number really understand what they are reading.

Get over it, are they personally hurting you in anyway and if thats whats said in the bible then God will deal with it right?
I know a couple of gay guys that would be the 1st to help anyone out in any situation they might need help in...Love is love and it's not YOUR place to judge and it cuz of homophobes like yerself that some of these folks are the target of hate crimes.
I am not a gay man incase you might ask but I dare you to say some of these things to a couple of guys I know they'd teach you a lesson for sure cuz not all gays are campy lil fellas...so dont be a hater please we have enough intolerance in this shityy world.

Well put... In my younger days I could not undestand this behavior and ridiculed it. I have told and laughed at homosexual jokes and have even gone out of my way to avoid contact and/or friendships of people I knew to be gay. Fortunately, as I got older and perhaps more mature, I have grown to understand that people who are gay really are no different than those who are not. Genetic, environmental or any other factor resulting in a person being gay is not really important to me. What is important is that I would much rather hang out with a good person who is gay as opposed to an idiot who is straight.

I do not agree with it, but I like to quote Seinfeld, "Not that their is anything wrong with it". How do they reproduce? I do not agree with special laws for homosexuals and other groups. If they get murdered it is also a hate crime. If someone murders an average white boy it is just murder. I do not think the country will ever agree on this. It is like charging a person with two murders when they kill a pregnant woman, but the owman can go get an abortion and that is legal? I think abortion should be made illegal except for cases of incest, rape, and danger to the mother. Did we already abort the baby who would grow up and cure AIDs, Cancer, or Heart Disease. Back to Same Sex relationships, men and men is weird to me. Woman to Woman seems okay as long as one doesn't have a flat top and flannel shirt. I don't think most hetrosexual men mind woman to woman because they always have that one in million chance of joining in. Okay off the soapbox

I know a few same sex couples who have kids and they have wonderful lives together. Im a straight guy...I've never been in an happy relationship for very long. How many of us know hetro couples who fight all the time and treat their kids like shit. So that old argument of 1 man & 1 women make for the best family life...is a crock. I was at my first legal same sex wedding last summer. The only difference from a traditional wedding was that the couple were both women. The celebration, best wishes, and emotions were the same as any wedding I've ever been to. What could be wrong about 2 people loving each other and wanting a family and happiness together.

My question to the folks out there that are so against same sex couples is...how does it really have anything to do with your life. Will their love impact on you in a tangible way? Does it take away or threaten what you have with your family?

People are always looking for more. Give approval on same sex eelationships and the next step is what ? They want to get married. Marriage is a God ordained institution. A relationship between a man and a woman. No other combination defines marriage.
