what the author of this thread thinks is morally wrong is an opionion they have every right to express, i suppose the author does everything that is written in the bible and follows it to a strict rule, if the author of the thread does not follow everything that is cast in stone in the bible by the book, then i would suggest the author is morally wrong, the bible i have never read i dont intend to read it either,i would say the bible is a bit dated for the modern world we live in, maybe i should write a new one, im not suggesting i am some messiah, i could however come up with a good read and you know people being people some would read it, oh and the phrase god made adam and eve not adam and steve is as old as the bible itself and so boring and sooooo yeasterday, get real wake up its 2006 not 0000...

do you mean to say homosexuality is hereditary?
I am not up on the science. So I can't say. I do believe it might be environmentally hereditary.

What I ment by my statement is simply that if enough people in a given area are active only with same sex eventually they as a group will cease to exist.

Homosexuality itself will allways be with us. I pray that it will not kill the human race.

I think the way people should go about eachother and their daily life is found in the bible, such as respect everyone, do your best, don't kill people, etc. No matter how far advanced our culture becomes, we all need to be on the same playing feild in some way. I may not be the best christian around, mind you, but I do what I feel is right.

Back to the topic, sure I've been surprised to learn that my friends are closet case lesbians, but after the shock factor I realize they are humans just like me (even if those same people stab me in the back and turn into a gang called the Bitchs of Eastwhick). I just get tired of people being "metro" sexual now, just to fit in because its become a fad to say "I'M GAY AND PROUD!" just for attention. Today we can either be a ghetto thug master, or a gay person to be cool, and personally, I'll take the 3rd option and go play with animals and learn their habits.

I think that he is just trying to say that same sex couples cannot procreate. Therefore if the whole world was gay, we would cease to exist.

but that's silly. gay & lesbian people have children all the time. doesnt take a lot of creativity to figure that one out.

If a lesbian was like "let me borrow your penis to get me pregnent!" I'd be like "umm...no, if any child is coming from my sperm, than it will be under my care, nobody else's!" Like anyone would ask a dumb question anyway lol.

God made Adam and Eve, but that does not mean that there was never an Adam and a Steve in the earliest ages of man.. homosexual relationships have been existing throughout history, in some cultures such relationships have been also glorified.. (for example the ancient greeks were widely known for their homosexual exploits), in other cultures it has been banned, ridiculed, punished, and maybe gone underground, but it has never ceased to exist.. and why not?

because homosexuality is caused by a genetic predisposition towards homosexuality, it has to do with the personal biological make-up of that person, it has to do with hormone levels.. and could also be a result of the person's environmental upbringing... there are many factors influencing a person's sexuality.

some homosexuals accept it, some fight it, some live in misery because of it.. but ultimately they have to decide how to live with their sexuality.. it's their choice, and i respect them for the choices they decide to make.
Very nice response. I agree with you. applause

I personally think it is morally wrong ... after all it is talked about in the bible as being forbidden. I realize it will still go on as not everyone feels the same. Yet God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
I agree with you Sadeyes044, and I must say that it is a crying shame that almost every reply to this thread have been in favor of gay and lesbian relationships. I am shocked and suprised that so many have accepted this lifestyle. It is strictly forbidden, and classified as an abomination. It is against nature itself.

Seems that everyone wants to be politically correct, and avoid taking a stand against evil. Yes evil, the practice of homosexuality is evil to the core. Heck, why do some of you people even think it is wrong to kill some one? Or steal from others? What about taking another mans wife? Or telling lies? What about beastiality? I guess those things are ok too in some peoples eyes. I am sickened by the responces. An entire city was destroyed because of this abonimable behavior. It appears that we as a nation are surely headed for that same end.

Maybe if some people had some kind of moral code to live by they could get their balance on these issues. Ther are a few that still adhere to laws and morals.
