Music pretty much influences my everyday life. I simply adore all sorts of music, and I have an appreciation for all kinds(and yes even "glowstick music!!!)
Sooo...what music influences you....
For me, I love a lot of bands/musicians....their gift for melody helps me with alot of the feelings and expressions I'm going through.
Just for a short list, here goes...
Some of my favorites to help me sort things out are...Led Zep, Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Bowie, Talking Heads, Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, Split Enz, The Beatles, The Clash, Cat Stevens, The Cure, The Who, Prince, The White Stripes, Moody Blues, Steely Dan, The Doors, Supertramp, The Arctic Monkeys, The Stones, Jethro Tull, Depeche Mode, Iggy Pop, The Hollies, Syd Barrett, Sonic Youth....God, I swear I could go on forever!!!!

I like classical music. Particular piano and violin solos or duets. I like classical guitar too.

That includes romantic and some pop music if it is instrumental only. I'm totally not into listing to people sing unless it's Barbara Streisand or Julie Andrews or Charlotte Church (I think that's her first name). But even then I can only take lyrics for so long before I want to go back to just pure instrumentals.

pretty much whatever has distortion in it ... LOL punk rock is my thing but i do listen to pretty much anything ... from german to french...spanish ...if it has a good sound i will listen to it ...

I 've got a snake........i fed it some beer one time.....it was slithering this way and that....it was alll efed up!!!

Them are all good ones and I do listen to al kind of music I really like DOCTOR HOOK AND STEVE MILLER BAND to !!!

Good bands there ... i tend to like the old stuff better than the new,im not trying to put down the new stuff but i like the old stuff ... different sound i guess

Oh yea I hear ya on the oldies I listen to alot of the old music and still play albums now how old is that but I have lots of them and won't get reed of them, not to old and crazy ..LOL

Don't ged rid of them , a friend of mine has like 3,000 albums that's all he buys vinyl ,i tried to get him to buy cds he says records sound better ...

Pink Floyd, almost anything instrumental, HIM, Celine Dion, Bonnie Raitt, Elvis, and on and on and on..........

I will never get rid of them, I even told my kids to hang on to them after I'm long and gone and to rememeber me when they play them !!
They said they would !! Cool, right on !!!

During the high school years and a few years after I would scour the swap meets looking for bootleg albums (ever seen on of those?). This went on every weekend obsessively. This was mostly for early British and German recordings of New Yardbirds/Led Zeppelin but also for Yes and Deep Purple and UFO, etc., etc.. Sometimes it would be a Blues quest...looking for rare Muddy Waters stuff...John Lee Hooker, etc.
