Sadly a common experience by almost all women . There is a misunderstanding by men that women's desire for fashion is a sexual expression . I like the way you kept the conversation interesting even though he was shallow. I think it is a shame that you were viewed only as a sex object. It is demeaning in the way that there is so much more to a human being than a end to a means. He is limiting himself and actually not seeing the larger picture. He is hurting himself by acting that immature. If he does get a relationship it will be not a quality one because he is only out for sex. He might as well get one of those plastic sexual aids if sex is all he is after. He is treating you like plastic or something that is mechanical to suit his wants. You really can't even say to meet his needs. If he had a relationship before then it is obvious why it ended. I hope he gets help for his sake. We call this promotion instead of attraction in our meetings. Even animals know how to attract a mate. I was this immature at one point. I used to fight hygiene. My ex would try to get me to bathe and make myself look nice but I took it as nagging. I took it as bossing and not in the way she meant it to help me. Communicating how you really feel towards another or even to yourself helps one to mature. If they reject you and you were yourself then you merely move on but if you act like this guy not only are you getting rejected but you are rejecting yourself as well. I would rather be rejected for who I am than for who I am not.

Posters do it all over these forums. A good friend of mine deleted her account last night because of how many sick people there are here. Said it made her wish she had never joined. Just gave her a very dim view of the “dating world” if they were representative of what was out there.

I like the title of the thread because it explains the action of the posted conversation. While a posted conversation may be embarrasing to the one it was posted about the title of the thread gives merit to why it was done. It does get the point across of, "This one got on my last nerve." One of my complaints against my ex was that she was just being a bitch. After careful study through much hindsight I can conclude that her being a bitch was partly my fault. I don't think she was actually born a bitch but my involvement with her help to esculate that gene. I take this as theory, though, because I can't actually prove that there is a bitch gene. Science may one day find though it so I can't totally disregard it. In posting she may find that it wasn't just her that would feel that way and that others may see the conversation in the way she did. The 'postee' or the one that was posted about may find this information helpful so I agree not posting his name is actually beneficial to him. His words were not twisted if this is a simple copy and paste. One of the reasons some people come to the forums is to buffer information received. A community-like atmosphere allows for interaction and communication skills to be honed and polished. It doesn't completly weed out bad experiences but I think it does help to encourage a dating format.
