What Are Some Things You Tend To Avoid?

Posted: Jul 29, 2005, 3:43 AM CST
I'll have to say anticipated arguments.
People who are too pushy.
Music or anything that reminds me of a past love who has hurt me, LOL

Ahhhh, take that, Lene. Couldn't come from a truer guy...:)

Certain arguments, I avoid.
I try to avoid being angry, but it has a why of showing up anyway, lol. sometimes being strong, and sarcastic makes people think I'm angry, or pulling thier legs. But, I'm not...

Good one, Lene. I'll wake up and get back to this:)

One of the only things I seem to avoid is making sure that I'm happy. I've come to the realization that I've spent most of my life making sure everyone else was happy and now here I sit, wondering what it was all for? Where has it gotten me? I have become a believer that nice guys do finish last. Sorry to sound like a downer but the truth doesn't always feel good.

I think it is true that nice guys sometimes seem to get the short end of the stick for some reason. I don't think you've avoided happiness though. You probably tryed too hard to make someone love you. What kind of women do you go for?

hmmm,
Hear that, look at it...Finishing takes time. Being there for people is not a crime.
Be you, and only you. Nice.

LOL, good one! When I was 18 and 19 I was stalked by this crazy guy who didn't want to take no for an answer. He constantly called my house, called my work and family. He even went to a nursing home my g-ma was in and talked crap to me to her freaking her out. He would stalk me at work and find ways to leave weird notes in my cars and send weird letters. He would wait until I got off of work at 3 in the morning and be there when I was on my way home, I'd spot his car. He spray painted my car and then one day when I was at my brothers girlfriends house he poured gasoline on her front sidewalk up to the back of my car in her driveway and set the container in back and started it. My brother ran out real quick and got the container away from the car. Yes, it may be a good idea to avoid people like that. At that time the time there were no stalking laws and they really didn't do anything to him. Later on when there were stalking laws, he finally went to jail for doing it to someone else. The way I got him to leave me alone was to tell him I felt sorry for him because he was mentally ill and told him he didn't bother me anymore, he left me alone finally.
