I have yearned to walk to a destination and at the same time, revel in the history of the walking the communication among travellors...is this just a European thing???

Same here, the funny thing though is that I can go almost anywhere and think about its History. I found a Spam Museum up here in Minnesota!!!

Thought about it? Well, I do it every year in August. My destination? Graceland, of course! Home of the King.

Too hard to choose just one but I`d have to say Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Clean Up Your Own Backyard and Moses Walked the Children. :)

I should make a point to say that, I don`t consider going to Graceland a pilgrimage as a religious standard. Some consider it a religious thing, that`s too weird and far fetched. I go to honor the man`s life and achievements. Maybe I shouldn`t have posted since this is in the religion cateogry......sorry.
