What do women think of men who go to prostitutes?

I must admit that I am thinking of getting this over with by visiting a pro. It does not seem like people value someone who waits for true love before having sex. I always wanted to wait for the right woman, but in a month I really will be the 40 year old virgin. What do women think of men who go to prostitutes? If I do this will I have to keep it a deep secret?

Given the high rate of health issues going around, I'd better damned well know about it.
If one goes, they do. They'd be on person I'll Never be with until they get a clean bill of health. And, that can take years.

So, there's your answer, LOL

I would pretty much guess, when you asked this question, you knew the answer. I would much more value someone who waited, than someone who "just got it over with" And, if your just getting it over with, couldn't you pick someone who doesn't do it for a living? Maybe a dear friend that you trust? Sure would suck if you were doing it just to do it and ended up with HIV. Actually some women do value morals. I think I have met quite a few on this site. I vote for waiting :) Best of luck!angel

I figured the answers would be like this and I understand. I am afraid that I do not have any close friends who I can go to over this issue Deianeira. I acually have some dental work to get done before I can get into serious dating - I let things go while I was taking care of my father since that took all my energy. I am afraid that I will be 40 before I can get it all worked out. I guess it is just getting me a bit depressed approaching 40. (And the holidays coming up with no family.) Thanks for the input.

I'm betting as long as the moneys in hand, it doesn't matter...Although, there are probably some that would give him a good lesson or more...

Holidays coming isn't a good reason to go to a prostitute. Loneliness will set in more afterward. It's not physical, it's emotional.

Going to a prostitute, isn't going to help solve the lonliness over the holidays, most likely make it worse. You are going to find that special someone, and they are going to really respect and feel honored that you are all theirs. Good luck & keep your chin up!hug

I know, and I would never visit a prostitute.

I'm not sure what the big deal is. Most people have the preconceived notion that prostitutes are unclean. They likely pay closer attention to hygiene and doctors visits than your average promiscuous female. However I do believe they likely have self esteem issues but what to you care if it's only for sex.

You know what, you have a point. I was thinking that I would find a prostitute to marry. At least then I would know from the start what I am getting. sigh

I agree. Depending on the source?
But, would you risk it not knowing what you're getting into? No pun intended...
There are more hookers also feeding habits.

I'd say the guy better know what he's going into.
But, there is know sure thing for aids. You can pass it, and get it and it be silent for a very long time.

Just damned scary compared to when I was a kid...

Many of them are likely to be unclean, diseased, etc., but it's not just that; there are a myriad of reasons. I've stated my case on this way too much to reiterate. I think it's a disgusting, degrading profession. Let's just let it go at that...dancing

Is this more disgusting and degrading than homosexuality?

Agreed the source would have to be reputable. Prostitutes generally require condoms be used.

Yes, either way it is scary but I think he would take a bigger risk with just anyone. Professionals use more caution.

Are you saying that you think homosexuality is degrading and disgusting, or are you trying to imply that I think that?
