The comment was made early in this thread.

Now I think it really should be clarified what is the time frame this thread was based on.

A relationship without sex is completely plausible and can be just as strong as any other. in most cases stronger. Do you realise how many marriages break up with the reasoning being something relating back to sex.
Sorry I don't. But listening to people I would place the figure up around the 60% mark. It is way higher though than marriages that break up due to more practicle reasons like violence, drugs, and gambling.

What arouses us today won't tomorrow that is just being a human Being.

The comment has been made time and again in the threads that I want a friend who will understand me and hold me. Will me in a sexual relationship is not going to worry about friendship and understanding if I'm getting hot unadulterated sex. Yet this would change over time.
But who would change there views on what they want first; Me or her.

You start and maintain the relationship with what u want out of it. Sex should be included but it is a minor ingredient of a long term successful relationship.

Now i ask the question how long do you date before you push for or initiate sex. How long before it is too long to wait.
I say it is around three months. Yes u are cuddling and kissing by this time. But anything else is rushing the relationship.

I believe discussing intimacy with an open
mind would be a good start. Intimacy is much
less physical and has more to do with the mind,
heart, and soul of those who enjoy sharing it
together. I feel that could lead to more sexual
desire in a relationship. conversing

simple answer

Not have sex with them.

Sex is but a small part of what she is to me. (might tease her a bit though).

She is

as I am.

If she choses to withdraw from me for a time it is her right.

If I expect her to treat me with respect I must treat her her with respect else I am no partner just another man with an agenda.

If it gets to the point that she can never have sex again? (To some women it is physically pain full guys)

I am with her because she is.

I would walk around the world find her if it was the only way.

Why would I do anything other than accept it.

I think sex is a very important part of a relationship. It's not the key to a great relationship but few thing you do will bring as close to each other as when you are making love. Sex is not as good without love, but love is not as good without sex. And I agree that time is a factor you want to be sure about who you are with. If your feelings change you've shared something with someone that they don't share with everyone so it can complicate ending a relationship as friends.

Awww..Oh my god!!...You are a gentleman...You know, as I said in other part of this forums. If only all men though as u do....

Sex is only that SEX...the important thing is MAKING LOVE, and not much people can do it. So I do not care about guys who are always asking for it without real intentions of love.

You should think or try to talk about it, why is the reason he or she is not wanting to have sex, probably he or she had sexuality problems, it is something serious that must be talked in couple and with a therapist to find the answer, but if u really love that person I think MUST NOT care about it, because LOVE is what keep you next to him or her, or at least it MUST BE. hug
