in long term relationships age does matter. it's hard enough to make things work without adding obsticles. I made the mistake of getting involved with someone way younger & it was disatrous! May be wrong to judge on 1 situaation but it turned mne off! But i have to admit blushing the sex was awsome!laugh

Hmmm... Age doesn't matter, but sometimes maturity does. And that works both ways - I've known very mature 20 year olds and very immature 40 year olds.

Make sense?
Yup thumbs up peace

Love is what counts the most. It will fill all the gaps. It would be a shame to miss a true love for the sake of age.

As long as both of legal age and consenting I see no problem. When I was 22 I picked up a 43 year old woman at a bar. She obviously had no problems with it. At least none that she was open about. Back in April, I was hit on by a woman of about 50 year old woman and if I hadn't known her for the last... 13 or 14 years, I definitely would've done something with her. Looking back on it I probably should have.

Think I'm "sick" or "crazy" or whatever but if it's legal and consentual(sp?) I don't see a problem.

The Hypnotist.

PS And in case you're wondering, yes, I am attracted to woman older than me. Whether one year or 26 years. As long as it feels right.
yes age shouldnt matter but what if u are 39 and he is 23 and he treats you like shit and is always putting you down should I keep him or kick him to the curb.comfort comfort

An 80 year old woman can marry a 20 years old man with no problem.

But a 80 year old man can't marry a 20 year old woman.

Mathamatically it won't work.

20 can go into 80 more times than 80 can go into 20.

I think its more a maturity issue (for me) than age, I have dated both older and younger, and as long as it is of legal age, go with what works for you.

Relationships are hard enough and when two people have exercised the same cultural, social timeline they are just naturally going to have more in common than if they are years apart.

If the person u r dating is 10 yrs younger then you, when you were becoming an adult at age 20, experiencing culture at the time, they we 10 home watching cartons with a bed time.

I have never got why people never get this.

Does it make a difference? How could it not.

Can it be over come? Sure in some relationship of course it can

But as I said Relationships are hard enough why work them in your favor when u can.

Does LOVE know age? No but you do

I am not fussy about age but I have found the following. Many women my age ae way into being successful and having "the life" and in general take themselves too seriously. Women 3-7 years younger seem to be less serious and are happy to be. I know this does not apply to all and I'm not one to catergorize people, but I know a lot of women of all ages. To sum it up for me I just want to find a good woman weather she's 21 or 40. :)

age doesn't matter, but atleast gives me a heads up on where their philosophy stands. I am reluctant to date women around my age or younger, for fear of them not being sure what they want exactly. I prefer someone who has been through life, or atleast has a good understanding of it. Doesn't sit there and day dream for pefect, without knowing that perfect does not exist.

Perfection is a perspective and what you make of that perspective

Without starting a debate, with that way of thinking, then all things are of concept and nothing is as it is, unless one agrees it is, therefore becoming a truth to them. In which all things are A truth and not The truth unless it became a truth to an individual who did not know this truth. By this, I am saying what "Perfect" means and passing the fact we can all get into a philosophical debate over squares, love, and triangles.
